HIGHLIGHTS OF THE HEART OF BHUTAN TOUR
This trip encompasses the western and central region of Bhutan and you will experience differences in landscape, architecture, people and culture as you traverse through Bhutan. Explore further into Bhutanese land from Trongsa to the enticing valley of Bumthang popularly known as the spiritual heart of the Kingdom.
Start off your tour at Ta Dzong museum, formerly used as watch tower during the 17th century and Rinpung Dzong, which is an integral part of the district administration and where monks also reside and learn. While traveling to Bumthang, you will be crossing over mountain passes so many times that you might lose count, but the farmstay experience and local wine will more than make up for it. At Phobjikha valley, you will see beautiful valley and meadows and during winter the Crane roosts on the marshy plains.
